Undertaken
Under the CSR funded project of Punjab & Sindh Bank, New Delhi entitled ‘Demonstration and awareness creation on artificial well recharging technique in water scarce panchayaths of Ernakulam district’, four demonstration plots of rooftop water harvesting and recharge into wells / tanks (artificial well recharge technique) were established in Ernakulam District. Awareness programmes on this technique were also organized for people in the demonstration plots
Under the NABARD supported program on the ‘Impacts of climate change on water resources and its mitigation measures’, conducted awareness classes in Kunnamangalam and Mavoor grama panchayaths in Kozhikode District for elected representatives and officials on various aspects of climate change and its impacts
Established demonstrations on ‘Organic farming for irrigated vegetable cultivation and wick irrigation technique’ in farmers’ plots
Established Demonstration on ‘Soil and water conservation practices’ and arranged awareness programs on this topic
